Our last desert trip of the Spring is almost here. The weather outlook is not great at this point. The long term forecast is for 15+ mph winds on Friday, 10+ mph winds and scattered thunderstorms on Saturday, Sunday a lot better. We'll continue to monitor the weather and make a go/no-go decision sometime next week. The good news is that the temperatures are staying lower than usual and we may be able to reschedule for the following weekend.
Weather permitting, we're expecting for a big turnout. A few of us will be heading out Friday morning. You can refer to my website for info on the flying site and detailed directions on how to get there.

Superstition Mountain Desert Flying – April 30 - May 2, 2010
We are going to try and sneak in one more desert trip before the summer comes to the desert. Temps should be tolerable, especially if we have a light breeze.
